Scanning licenses are an Add-In for CertifiTrac+
that will reduce data entry time and incorporate certificate images into an Insured’s record. These licenses include Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology for reading certificate data from standard Acord 25-S forms. Approximately 90% of incoming certificates are on the Acord 25-S forms, and data read into the program includes:
Insured names and addresses.
Policy numbers, effective and expiration dates and limits.
Additional Insured compliance.
Insurance companies and/or producers.
The software will scan and read from a local scanner or from PDF or TIFF files in either single or multi-page form. Single page documents can be scanned into the database from a sheet feeder in batches of up to 30 at a time. Multi-pg must be scanned one at a time. Documents other than the Acord 25-S form will be scanned as Image Only. All personnel with user rights toCertifiTrac+ will be able to review the scanned certificates and approve the data for entry into the database.
CertifiTrac+ allows the user to retain each image for viewing and printing from an Insured record in the database. All images are automatically available for viewing in the reports and on the company Intranet/Internet Reports (requires Internet Reports Add-in) for advanced insurance certificate management.
This option runs as an unattended Windows Service application on an workstation or file server. It can be configured to monitor multiple file directories and\or email addresses. When monitoring email addresses, the CertifiScanServer will look for any TIF\PDF formated attachments and OCR them automatically. Option includes the CertifiScan Console to monitor the documents comming into the CertifiScanServer.
