Scanning
DataTracPlus provides the only insurance document management systems which incorporate cutting edge Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology for reading pertinent certificate tracking data from standard Marsh and Acord 25-S forms. Scanning licenses are an Add-In for CertifiTrac+ and ProTrac+ that will reduce data entry time and incorporate certificate images into an Insured’s record. Approximately 80% of incoming certificates are on the Marsh and Acord 25-S forms, and data read into the program includes:- Insured names, addresses, phone numbers, and contact information.
- Policy numbers, effective and expiration dates and limits.
- Additional Insured compliance.
- Insurance companies and/or producers.
CertifiTrac+ and ProTrac+ also enable the user to scan all documents and retain each image for viewing and printing from an Insured record in the database. Documents that be scanned for image include such items as endorsements, contracts, correspondence from the Insured, etc. Single page documents can be scanned into the database from a sheet feeder in batches of up to fifty (50) at a time. Scanned images are easily saved when linked to an Insured’s record.
All images are automatically published to accompany reports for viewing on the company Intranet/Internet (requires Internet Reports Add-in) for advanced insurance document management.
